Southwestern Community Services strives to empower low-income people and families. With dignity and respect, SCS provides direct assistance, reduces stressors, and advocates for such persons and families as they lift themselves toward self-sufficiency.
Southwestern Community Services (SCS), one of New Hampshire's five community action agencies, has served the needs of citizens in Cheshire and Sullivan counties since 1965. Some programs include affordable housing, fuel assistance, Head Start, family assistance, and community transportation.
